Design Approach
The design balances professionalism with warmth—using clean lines, intuitive navigation, and ample whitespace to allow powerful testimonials and program successes to shine. Thoughtfully placed pull quotes and success metrics offer emotional and quantitative insights side by side.
Sections such as “Safe Housing,” “Medical Advocacy,” “Teen Education,” and the Barbara J. Hart Justice Center were visually segmented for clarity, and program photos were paired with survivor quotes to maintain authenticity and personal connection. Data visualizations and financial breakdowns were presented using color-coded charts and icons for maximum readability.

Results
The final 14-page report became a core tool for WRC’s fundraising, board engagement, and public awareness efforts. It successfully communicated WRC’s far-reaching impact—including over 22,000 nights of safe shelter, 8,900+ crisis calls answered, and 218 legal cases served—while honoring the humanity behind the numbers.
The report also celebrated standout achievements, such as winning the National Purple Ribbon Award for Prevention Education and a landmark Superior Court appeal victory in a custody relocation case.
